Marketplace role
Contractor Connect is a discovery, project proposal and messaging platform connecting professionals and project owners. We do not employ listed contractors, guarantee credentials or project outcomes, act as a general contractor for third-party listings, or guarantee that posted projects result in work. Users are responsible for verifying insurance, trade licensing, references, permits, contract terms, and legal compliance before engaging.
Accounts and listings
You must be at least 18 years old, provide accurate information, keep your account secure, and have authority to post projects or business listings. False qualifications, impersonation, unlawful discrimination, spam, abusive messages, and deceptive postings are prohibited. Listings are subject to review, removal, and suspension at our discretion.
Payments and contracts
Membership signup is currently free. Optional identity, insurance and license verification services have separately disclosed one-time fees. Paying covers the verification process and does not guarantee approval, a badge, licensing, insurance, quality or suitability. Badges may expire or be revoked; coverage and license scope should be independently checked before a contract is signed. No project escrow, contractor payouts, or platform-facilitated job payments are currently offered. Any future paid membership terms and prices will be disclosed before checkout. Submitting, shortlisting or accepting a proposal within the marketplace is not a binding contract, does not guarantee award or payment, and does not initiate a charge. Contractors and owners must agree separate written terms. Contracts, deposits, and work performed between members are their own responsibility unless we explicitly agree otherwise in writing.
Limitations
The marketplace is provided on an as-available basis. We may modify or discontinue features, subject to applicable law. To the extent permitted by law, Contractor Connect is not responsible for disputes or losses arising from independent transactions between users.
